Humans of DAH: Latifa Ojja

Meet Sr. Latifa Ojja! There’s no doubt that you’ve seen her working tirelessly around Dar Al-Hijrah day and night. Sr. Latifa started in the thrift shop 8 years ago and made her way through all the departments. She worked in the food bank, sewing academy, summer school, kitchen, and much more. Sr. Latifa is who we should thank for how beautiful and clean the women’s side always looks. She comes in after Fajr every Friday to help set up for the weekly Friday Prayers. She’s never skipped a Friday and May Allah give her strength to keep coming every Friday. If you see her, she is always working with a warm smile on her face and she always greets you with the nicest words. We appreciate Sr. Latifa and all the effort she puts to keep our Masjid cared for. May Allah reward her and grant her the highest levels of paradise. #HumansOfDAH
